Cal.com connects to Apple Calendar over CalDAV, using your Apple ID and an app-specific password. Once linked, Cal.com reads your Apple calendars to block busy times and writes new bookings back to the calendar you choose. ## Prerequisites - Two-factor authentication turned on for your Apple ID. - An app-specific password generated for Cal.com at `https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage` under **Sign-In and Security** and then **App-Specific Passwords**. Cal.com rejects your regular Apple ID password. - Access to **Settings → My account → Calendars** in Cal.com. ## Steps ### Step 1: Open your calendar settings In Cal.com, open **Settings → My account → Calendars**. The page lists the calendars Cal.com checks for conflicts. Click **Add calendar** in the top right to open the App store. ![Open your calendar settings](https://cal.supportpages.io/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6ODUxMiwicHVyIjoiYmxvYl9pZCJ9fQ==--44f62b482362388c7968d1b57e2095ea00a91378/block_open-calendar-settings.png) ### Step 2: Open the Apple Calendar app The Calendar apps page lists every calendar integration. Please ensure you're using an app-specific password rather than your account password.** Generate a fresh app-specific password and try again. ## Summary Apple Calendar is now linked over CalDAV. Back on **Settings → My account → Calendars**, your Apple calendars are listed under **Check for conflicts**, and new bookings are written to the calendar selected under **Add to calendar**.
